Warranty and Support Information
Returning an Item: If you've received furniture in a damaged condition or got the wrong item, please reach out to us. We'll arrange for a repair or replacement. Just a friendly heads up, we can't process returns for changes of mind, but we're here to assist you in making the best choice.
Cancelling an Order: You can cancel your order, but only if it hasn't been dispatched from our supplier's warehouse and is still awaiting pickup by our delivery partners. We get started on orders right away to give you the best service and price. Unfortunately, we can't accept cancellations once the process is underway. We're here to help you choose the perfect furniture!
Exchanging Items: If the product hasn't left our supplier's warehouse and is still awaiting pickup, we can facilitate an exchange. Please take your time in choosing, as we won't be able to process exchanges once it's on its way.
Warranty Information:
At Brooklyn, we take pride in the quality of the goods we provide to our customers. All our products come with a warranty that aligns with the Australian Consumer Law.
We're committed to ensuring you're satisfied with your purchase. If there's a major failure or any reasonable manufacturing defect, we'll send a replacement or repair. We stand by the quality of our goods.
Warranty Terms and Conditions for Lounges - Sofa:
- 5 years on frame and internal structural components
- 3 years on foam seats, allowing for up to 3 cm minor collapsing after frequent use
- 1 year on mechanisms for recliners, sofa beds, ratchets, headrests, and moving components
- 1 year on electronic components including motors, transformers, and controls
- 1 year on comfort components like back cushions, fiber fills, and sofa bed mattresses
- 1 year on general workmanship including sewing, staples, legs, and zips
- 1 year on upholstery materials including leather and fabric
- 1 year on webbing and springs
For Dining Tables, Dining Chairs, Occasional, and Bedroom Products:
- 1 year limited manufacturing warranty
- 1 year limited warranty on upholstery materials including leather and fabric (i.e., Dining Chairs)
Conditions of Warranty: To rely on this warranty, simply:
- Fill out and return the attached warranty registration card within 30 days of delivery
- Follow care instructions provided with the product
- Keep your original retailer’s invoice, sales docket, and (if applicable) delivery docket as proof of purchase
What Isn't Covered by Warranty: This warranty doesn't apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Stains, cuts, or scratches
- Indirect or consequential losses or damages
- Deliberate or negligent damage
- Improper use, storage, or cleaning
- Natural characteristics of leather
- Use outdoors or in humid environments
- Damage by exceeding weight limits
- Incorrect voltage or electrical issues
- Damage by pests or pets
- Non-domestic use
- Damage during transportation
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Please note: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of our product. It cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.
